The content on this Website are written and edited solely by me. On occasion, I have guest writers. I also quote other authors, as well as draw from multiple resources. All authors and resources are annotated as such. The content on this site does not—at any time— create a conflict of interest.
I write from my personal experiences. The events of my life are real. How I chose to walk through some of those circumstances goes against mainstream advice. I did not walk through them alone. Rather, I had a strong support system. I cannot guarantee that if you were to do the exact same things I did, it would produce the same outcome. The choices you make are yours alone to make, with or without a qualified professional. Whatever choices you make, I withhold judgment and will always encourage you on your journey. I ask the same of you.
I write true stories. True stories involve people. I take seriously the ethics of writing. It is never my intention to hurt, defame, paint in a negative light, or expose others faults. However, there is a dark side of humanity and sugarcoating downplays our need for redemption through Jesus Christ. I pledge –to all my readers and those I write about–to write honestly, accurately, tactfully, and in love.
My blog is not a place to assess whether I did the right thing or not, nor am I stating the same for you. Only you can determine what is best for you and your family. My blog is simply a place to share stories.
I am not a theologian or mental health expert, which is why I include a vast amount of resources when offering my opinion or advice. I do spend a great deal of my time studying and researching the topics that are of interest to me. That is the only guarantee I can make to you. Please do your own research and when necessary seek help from a professional.
